The story behind the Software
It started with a recurring challenge: live events and church productions at Karen AGC were growing more complex.
Cameras, microphones, mixers, projectors, and livestream encoders all needed to work perfectly but new members and even experienced team members sometimes struggled to follow setups, and mistakes were time costly.
We realised we needed a tool that could simplify, teach, and standardise these workflows something interactive, visual, and intelligent.
That’s when SignalFlow was born.
We weren’t just building a diagram tool. We wanted a training system, a simulation platform, and an AI assistant all in one. Volunteers could finally practice setups safely, plan events confidently, and understand the signal flow from source to stream.
The media team worked tirelessly; dragging and dropping virtual cameras, mixers, projectors, and streaming devices onto a simulation board, testing workflows, and watching connections flow just like in a real event.
Samaritan AI
Samaritan AI, built on Gemini, became the secret weapon. It helps design complex signal flows, suggests optimal routing, and reduces errors before events. Sanity checks automatically verify that connections are working, ensuring setups are reliable before going live.
Now, SignalFlow isn’t just for production, it’s at the heart of training. New volunteers can simulate live events, learn how every connection interacts, and practice streaming and projection workflows all in a risk-free environment.
From Sunday services to youth seminars and large conferences, SignalFlow ensures every mic, camera, and stream works, and every volunteer knows exactly what to do.
